The Equagel™ cushion is equipped with two pelvic contour inserts to enhance the therapeutic gel under the pelvis. These inserts can easily be inserted into the cover's fabric pocket, beneath the gel.

• Included are two different pelvic contour inserts that can increase the amount of therapeutic gel under the pelvis from 4.45cm to 5cm (1.75" to 2"), 5.71cm (2.25") or 6.35cm (2.5") deep. The gel contour inserts are slipped into the fabric pocket inside the cover, beneath the gel.

EquaGel™ is a revolutionary dry-polymer gel with impressive tensile and compression strength and exceptional durability. However, its true value lies in its unparalleled special qualities. Its most incredible feature is the column buckling, meaning that it responds to weight in a unique way. Each gel wall can only support a light load, and when that limit is surpassed, the wall buckles into the space between walls, shifting the weight to the surrounding walls for support. This process happens immediately and continuously until the maximum surface area of weight is evenly supported, earning us the name EquaPressure. As the user's ischial tuberosities and coccyx/sacrum sink into the EquaGel™, they feel as if they are floating freely while the thighs and buttocks are fully supported.
